Services designed to support EU institutions in engaging with Reference data, Linked Open data and semantic technologies.
The Publications Office provides various services to support EU institutions and agencies in the creation and maintenance of reference data. These services include training, advisory and support related to controlled vocabularies and semantic web technologies:
- Basic courses on SKOS/RDF/SPARQL technologies
- Vocabulary alignment (mapping)
- Creation of metadata profiles in accordance with relevant standards (DCAT, DCAT-AP, ADMS, VOID)
- Conversion of data to semantic formats
- Hosting of vocabularies on the high-availability infrastructure of the Publications Office and provision of a SPARQL endpoint
- Issue management and escalation for Corporate Reference Data Management
- Helpdesk on reference data
